4:30 AM - Departure from Cusco

8:00 AM - Arrival at the Trailhead

  • Location: Soraypampa, the starting point for the hike to Humantay Lagoon.
  • Altitude: 3,900 meters (12,795 feet) above sea level.
  • We will arrive at Soraypampa, a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, where the hike to Humantay Lagoon begins.
  • Trail Difficulty: Moderate, with a gradual ascent, but it can be challenging due to the altitude. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group's pace.

9:30 AM - Arrival at Humantay Lagoon

  • Location: Humantay Lagoon, one of Cusco’s most stunning natural sites.
  • Altitude: 4,200 meters (13,780 feet) above sea level.
  • Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of the lagoon’s turquoise waters, surrounded by the towering Humantay and Salkantay mountains.
